Hold-up is a console that is a dialogue between two characters materialised in texture. As the ebonised teak legs protects and shelters, it brings the precious lacquered box off the ground. The legs embrace the box and hold it firmly on its sides. Our perception of the console changes from being a slender and vertical to an elongated piece depending on the perspective.
